“ Lucy’s place was a great stop and a hidden little gem. The staff were so sweet and provided us with excellent service, history of Lucy’s and the surrounding areas, great food and an amazing freshly baked blueberry pie! If travels take me that way, I will happily detour for another visit! ”
“ I have passed this place a few times and they were always busy so I would go somewhere else. What a shame! I should know if a place is busy every time they must be good. I ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger, with pickles on the side and french fries. My husband had everything on his. It was delicious. The size of our sodas was huge. Our server was very nice, polite and attentive. I usually don't eat dessert but when I saw the list of pies, well we each took a slice to go. Blueberry and one cherry both great The atmosphere is quaint leaves a taste of nostalgia. ”
“ I stop here every time I’m driving this way! Absolutely love the food and service. Save room for pie!!! Always a tough choice because they have an amazing selection. ”
“ This little place is right off the highway next to a gas station and a bit outside of Sedgwick. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is awesome and the prices reasonable. I had the deluxe hamburger with fries and it was fresh and hot with a good proportion. I had to get a cinnamon roll and pecan roll. They’re huge! The pecan roll was 5x7x3 inches and as yummy as is big! We haven’t tried the cinnamon roll yet, but I’m confident it will be worth the calories. I’ll definitely go here again when in the area! ”
“ I was driving from Colorado to Iowa and found this hidden gem along the way. The staff were friendly, the food was very good, and the prices were reasonable. I had the bison burger and it was cooked just right. Had to have a slice of one of their many pie options too, so good! Before I was leaving I saw fresh sticky pecan cinnamon rolls come out from the back. I asked if I could buy the pan with the rolls in it to bring home to my family. The server said, sure, wrapped it up and I was on my way. If I’m ever lucky enough to take this drive again, I’m stopping at Lucy’s Place! Go, enjoy the small town diner atmosphere, and eat some good food. ”
